Solaiman A. El Khereiji’s background in planning and architectural design is extensive, covering wide range of experience with over Forty Five years in the Property Development and Construction Industry. In 1978 he founded his own architectural and Engineering Consultancy firm called “Solaiman A. Elkhereiji Consultant” (SAK Consultant) in Saudi Arabia. His involvement in the industry has contributed to the design and supervision of some of the most sophisticated projects in various sectors including healthcare, educational, hospitality, Institutional, Residential, Industrial, leisure, transportation and infrastructure projects. He has been a former Member of the Majlis Al Shoura (the Consultative Committee Member of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Chairman of the Board of Amen Engineering, Board Member of Al Andulus Educational Company and Former Vice President for PMI in the region. He has been an active member at AIA, New York (USA), Architects Association London (UK), Saudi Council of Engineers and Architects Association of Egypt.

He has also given various lectures in Local & International universities including King Fahd University for Petroleum & Minerals in Dahran, King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Taiba University in Madinah, Umm Ul Qura University in Makkah, Dar Al Hikmah University in Jeddah, Effat University in Jeddah, British Muslim Heritage Centre (UK), Oxford University (UK), Cambridge University (UK), Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy) and Cadi Ayyad University (Morocco), Bogor Agricultural University (Indonesia), Universita of Indonesia (Indonesia), Alexandria University (Egypt), Al Azhar University (Egypt).
